Well I did it

I wrote a second book and sent it off to a publisher despite knowing it may be another five months before I hear back about the first book.
It was a difficult decision. Feedback on the first book would help me avoid making the same mistakes in the second. But just waiting around was making me nervous. And the heroine kept asking me when I was going to tell her story.
So it is done. And now it is back to biting my nails and waiting.

Book 2 is started

I have started writing another book.
It seems a bit strange when I don't know if the first one is any good or not but the characters are in my head so I decided to let them out to play on the pages instead.
I am looking forward to finding out where they take me.

My book has passed its first test and progressed into the queue for an aquiring editor.
I should hear back in six months!

Another book or is it too soon?

I have an idea for another book. It keeps running around in my mind at night preventing me from sleeping.
But is it too soon? Should I wait to hear back about the first book. Their comments could make a big difference to how I write this next one.
But it could be many months before I hear from them.
To write or not to write, that is the question. (sorry, Will).

The publisher has acknowledged receipt of my book and says I should get an initial response within two months
